I am proud to have had the opportunity to serve the nation along with the forward troops in J&K during the Kargil war in 1999. In the aftermath of the disastrous earthquake in Bhuj, Gujarat, on 26th Jan 2001, I was fortunate to be deployed in Ratnal village to provide medical support to the earthquake victims, as a member of the medical team from Army Medical Corps.
