Dr Ishani Mohapatra is a Senior Consultant, Neuropathology in Laboratory Medicine, Pathology and Blood Bank at Medanta Gurugram. She has developed and established neuromuscular lab at Medanta, protocols for specialized brain biopsies, epilepsy surgical specimens, nerve, muscle biopsies and molecular neurooncology. She has national and international publications to her name and has presented papers in various national and international conferences.

Dr. Ruchika K. Goel is a Senior Consultant in Laboratory Medicine, Pathology & Blood Bank at Medanta, Gurugram. She was a Visiting Fellow in Breast Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre (B.I.D.M.C), Harvard Medical School, U.S.A and Gynae Pathology from Singapore General Hospital, Singapore. She has attended numerous national and international conferences and has many publications in various national and international journals. She is also a NABL assessor and is associated with Quality programme of the lab.

Expertise in performing fine needle aspiration of superficial lumps (salivary gland, thyroid, lymph nodes, breast and subcutaneous tissues Interpretation and adequacy assessment of FNAC (direct and USG, CT, EUS and EBUS guided) Gynecologic (Pap smear) and effusion cytology (pleural, pericardial, peritoneal, CSF, urine and synovial fluids) reporting

After postgraduation , she completed 3 years Senior Residency from Department of  Pathology,  Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. She has expertise in protocol reporting, grossing and immunohistochemistry. She is confident enough to diagnose aspiration cytology, exfoliative cytology, squash preparations, pap smears, liquid based cytology and frozen sections. 

Dr Namita is an alumnus of the prestigious MAMC (Maulana Azad Medical College) in New Delhi, India and has more than 25 years of experience in Microbiology and Infection control having excelled in her academic career with many awards and distinctions. She has been pivotal in setting up the Artemis lab, an NABL accredited lab with state of the art technology, stringent quality control and well qualified staff.  Dr Namita is the chairperson for Infection Control Committee and the Infection control officer of the hospital.
